4th of July Freedom Fest
The fun starts at the Florence Aquatic Center for the Freedom Fest Party from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Open swimming, games, and music throughout the day. This FREE event has a limited capacity, so come early.
Afterward, head to Heritage Park fields for water inflatables, relay games, food, games, a cornhole tournament, live music, and our fireworks show.
The cornhole tournament is limited to the first 16 teams, so register

The contest begins at 5:30 pm at the horseshoe pits. Register by Friday, June 30 to secure a spot.

Make a Difference Day
Make a Difference Day
The Make a Difference Day committee will choose approximately five projects for volunteers in the community to participate in. Participants will receive their assignment and assist with items such as cleaning, painting, picking up trash, digging, planting etc… These projects will be recognized by town citizens, and visitors. Want to Make a Difference? Do you have project ideas on this day your group or organization would like to oversee? This year marks the 92nd annual Jr. Parada! On Thanksgiving weekend, Historic Florence is filled with cowboy spirit, as floats line Main Street. After the parade, head out to the Charles Whitlow Rodeo Grounds where you will see some rough and tough little cowboys and cowgirls competing in the Oldest Jr. Rodeo in the U.S!

Historic Home Tour
A celebration of the Town’s rich history, unique homes and buildings are featured on this historic home tour. The route is planned for those to enjoy a leisurely stroll through Main Street or hop a ride to some of the outlying buildings. Tickets $20 in advance for adults , or $25 the day of the event. Ages 17 and under are free.
