Town of Florence Historic Preservation

The Town of Florence Historic Preservation staff works with the community to preserve and enhance the historic features of the Town.  Staff works  closely with the Historic District Advisory Commission, homeowners, developers and SHPO to provide training and information about historic preservation laws, compliance procedures, rehabilitation standards and financial incentives.

Since the Town of Florence’s history is important to the community, there are events throughout the year to celebrate it, which include but are not limited to The Walking Tour and the Historic District Home Tour.
