The Town of Florence and Right Away Disposal is hosting its annual Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, March 15th. This is a great opportunity to clean up your property and dispose of garbage, recyclables, old appliances, tires, landscape material, electronics, paint, sealers, oil, and household cleaners.
The FREE drop-off site is provided by Right Away Disposal and is located next to Heritage Park, located at 600 North Main Street. Items are accepted from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday only.
To drop off unwanted items, you must be a Florence resident and live within the boundaries of Florence. Please bring a drivers license, utility bill or other documentation that can verify your home address is in Florence.
The following items are NOT accepted at the drop off site:
- Bio-Hazardous Waste (Medical Waste, Needles)
- PCB Containing
- Gases
- Explosives
- Business or Industrial Waste
